Is there anyone out there that has been glued to the tv watching the olympic trial? I have been really watching some fantastic young people out there working hard to win and go to the games in London. Makes me so proud of all of them. Thier hard work and thier pride in the United States is amazing. I have been watching the diving, the swimming, the gymnastics, track and field. All these young people deserve to win.
Well, my daughter signed her lease yesterday. Today she bought herself a sofa, coffee table and two end tables. I guess it's finally settling in that she is really moving. We have been so busy this weekend buying things and getting things ready, I need to go back to work to rest. LOL
We are also all getting ready to go on vacation. North Carolina here we come. We didn't go last year as our dog was so sick with diabetes and going blind, we just didn't feel we could go. We lost her in October. It has been so hard not having her to love on and have her love on us but it was her time. We have a new freedom that we are just beginning to enjoy. I would much rather her here with us but... We have decided no more animals for a while. We had her for 14 years and there is just no way we could ever replace her right now. Not that getting a new dog would be a replacement but like I said, we have this new found freedom that we will just enjoy for now. Maybe later.... who knows!
