So you know when people say they feel like they've been hit by a mack truck...

Well, I know how they feel.  I have had the flu.  3 weeks of having the flu.  I still have the cough.  People are telling me it lasts for a long time.  Great, everytime I cough, I feel like my head is going to explode.  But I shall live.

The new job is going well.  I am loving the people I work with and the new clients as well.  I can usually get along with anyone and everyone but you know how it feels to be the "new" girl.

Some of you already know that my daughter is graduating from College this year.  She attends Framingham University.  Well we got notice yesterday (we already knew but it's nice to see on paper) that she is graduating Magna Cum Laude.  I can not tell you just how proud of that girl I am.  She had lots of things going on in her freshman and junior year that could have set her back but she overcame them all and did well in spite of (him) them.  She will be going on to get her masters degree.  She has made me such a proud mama.  And she has daddy wrapped around her little finger as well.

Speaking of daddy.  Tom and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary this past weekend.  We celebrated by going to our most favorite restaurant..  I had lobster pie, Tom had scallops.  It was all so delicious.  We decided when the weather gets better here we are going to go away for a weekend.  We haven't decided where yet.  Got any suggestions?

Those of  you that follow my blog will see me more often here.  I think I started my blog a little earlier than I was prepared for.  I planned to be here so much more often but things happen.......  Thanks Tracey for the push to get back over here.  I spent about an hour over at your blog yesterday getting caught up on you.  I totally agree that I wouldn't have been able to wait to pick up my stampin up order.  :)

Okay, it's early here so I need to finish up my coffee and get to work.  I will be back tomorrow for my thankful thursday.  Stay tuned........  much more to come.

Talk to you all soon.

Pam

  1. So glad that you checked in, Pam. I have truly missed you. I hope that is the end of the sicknesses in your house. You have had one tough year and so deserve a few months on easy street to say the least!
Happy belated anniversary to you and your sweetheart. I hope that you get to do something fun.
We will be in Nantucket this weekend if everyone stays well. I am holding my breath as 25% of Claire's kindergarten is out with a nasty stomach bug. Please dear Lord let us avoid this stomach bug!!!
